bio decontamination Ltd dry vapour fumigation systems provide cost effective, easy to use and maintain, rapid and highly efficient solutions to both complex surface decontamination and aerial contamination for either fixed size production chambers e.g. isolators, MSC's etc., and large, medium or small scale rooms, buildings and service voids and HVAC systems.
bio decontamination Ltd balanced atomising process, using a mixture of 35% ww peroxide and water, accurately distributes the correct amount of sub micron (<1μm) dry vapour at source and at a consistent droplet size, to the required "kill zone" using specially designed ultrasonic nozzles and small bore tubing (4mm + 6mm dia), compared to other VHP/HPV suppliers who generate their vapour remotely and then transfer the sterilant to a chamber "kill zone" via a complex network of large bore (50mm dia approx) rigid piping - (some systems requiring additional "heat traced" piping and thermally insulated to maintain optimum conditions).

No matter how large or small the area being decontaminated, the cycle time from start of gassing to end of "kill time" is always constant.
The bio decontamination Ltd process is controlled and monitored in re
al time by measuring the relative humidity using wireless H + T sensors. Control of dry vapour discharge is from the outside of the area being fumigated and each nozzle is independently managed automatically. Manual control is also an option if preffered. Because bio decontamination Ltd has collation VHP p.p.m. and the area R.H%, this means that the relative humidity level within differing sized areas can be precisely and accurately balanced as the dry vapour is introduced, providing an efficient Log 6 kill without wetting taking place. Monitoring the relative humidity and controlling the process via sensor information is unique to bio decontamination Ltd and leads to an effective and efficient dry vapour decontamination process.
Although bio decontamination Ltd system is still designed around vapour generation, vapour distribution and vapour aeration - unlike other VHP/HPV suppliers, who require temperature pre-conditioning and delivery pipework stabilisation, (because the H2O2 is remotely generated and then carried by an air stream to the kill zone) - this is not necessary with Bio decontamination Ltd systems, as the dry vapour is generated "at source".
The process is finally validated through the use of biological indicators (BI's), which are placed in the chamber or room(s) and exposed to the fumigant, after which they are cultured in a suitable media and under appropriate manufacturers recovery conditions. If no growth occurs, the decontamination process is deemed to have been successful.
Due also to the controlled collation between VHP p.p.m. and RH% an extended contact period or "dwell time" - to ensure adequate exposure of VHP - is also generally unnecessary using bio decontamination Ltd system. Note: All process conditions, illustrated in coloured graph format, can be immediately downloaded verifying the process and resultant Log 6 kill, without the need to culture the BI's, if required - unlike other VHP/HPV suppliers who can only truly verify results following the actual culturing of the BI's.
The precise balance amount of generated VHP ensures that the aeration phase is also minimised, bringing the VHP concentration down to its safe workplace exposure limited (W.E.L) of 1 p.p.m. (8hrs T.W.A) before safe re-entry takes place.
