Decontamination of Laminar Flow Cabinets

Class I, II, III

Cabinentsbio decontamination ltd have developed a dry vapour hydrogen  peroxide system specifically for the decontamination of safety cabinets. Predominantly used to ensure that the serviceable parts are decontaminated prior to an engineers visit, our mobile system can be deployed throughout the facility and process up to 4 cabinets at once.

Vapourised hydrogen peroxide VHP is dispersed into the sealed cabinet and recycled through the filters via a series of pipes and fans.  The vapour is monitored throughout by sensors that measure relative humidity to ensure the correct amount of dispersion is maintained during the 60 minute kill period.  The levels of vapour being dispersed in the cabinet can be easily adjusted via an individual control valve outside each cabinet.

On completion of the decontamination process the vapour is extracted from the cabinet via a stand alone carbon filter until a safe level is reached.   Additional validation of the process can be verified via the inclusion in the cabinet of bio indicators impregnated with Geobacillus stearothermophylus at a concentration of up to 6 logs.
