The process raises the humidity which ensures a thorough and even distribution of the sterliant, and readings are recorded to confirm this. Additional validation can be provided by bio indicators impregnated with Geobacillus stearothermophylus at a concentration of 6 logs.

Sensitive equipment is unaffected by the dry vapour and therefore can be can be left in the rooms for sterilization.
